PEFA Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre is a registered charity that provides education and medical care for disabled Kenyan children.
In 1974 Ruth Scott-Kellie started PEFA Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre with the aim of providing medical care and schooling for disabled children in a secure, Christian environment.

Since 1974, PEFA Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre has grown. It now caters for over 150 physically disabled children and children with learning disabilities. The centre now includes a hostel, special unit in Tumaini Primary school, physiotherapy unit, and vocational training centre.

The aim of Matumaini is to integrate children with disabilities into the community as far as possible thus providing them with a sense of self-worth and dignity.

PEFA Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre is affiliated to the PEFA group (Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa) and works closely with the local PEFA church.
